Community & CrabHut
Socialcrab is not just a tool — it’s the foundation for a growing ecosystem of users, contributors, and builders who want to unlock insight from public social media data.
While the core reporting engine is focused on structure and delivery, we believe real innovation happens when the community has a say in what gets tracked, how data is used, and what tools are built next.
What is CrabHut?
CrabHut is the name of Socialcrab’s upcoming community layer — a dedicated space where token holders, researchers, marketers, and builders can:
- Propose new hashtag or profile tracking targets
- Suggest improvements to reports or data formatting
- Experiment with early-access tools or plugin ideas
- Contribute training data for future sentiment or trend models
- Participate in bounty-based challenges and community voting
It will be powered by $SCRB, with token holders gaining the ability to participate in priority requests, collaborative tool development, and future governance decisions.
Why It Matters
Social media changes fast — and centralized tools often fall behind. By involving the community in deciding what’s relevant, CrabHut helps ensure Socialcrab stays responsive, useful, and deeply connected to the cultures it monitors.
This model isn’t just about contribution — it’s about co-ownership.
Planned Features
- Request submission board (hashtag/profile inputs)
- Reward pool for high-impact contributions
- Dashboard for tracking CrabHut activity
- Integration with sentiment labeling and plugin experiments
- DAO-style governance for advanced users
Note: CrabHut is currently under development. Early details and mockups will be shared with the community via our social channels and documentation portal.
